The experience
Watching the sunset over the rocky mountains on the rooftop bar at Pindustry is memorable. In real estate, they say it's all about location, location, location. For me, when dining or traveling it is all about the view, view, view.
Food is fundamental. The taste, presentation, and creative accompaniments create delicious flavors and make your mouth happy. But the incredible view, weather, and the overall experience of the location make a lasting impression. Those are the moments and places I will remember, tell people about, and want to relive.
I was in the Denver tech area last week for a business trip. I traveled with a group of colleagues. We were unable to do any real exploring but we did uncover a couple of rooftop bars packed full of fun and great views. Most of the rooftop bars I have been to are at the top of a hotel building and in relatively tight spaces. But Denver offers views of the Colorado Rockies, and the patio space is ample.
One of the bars we visited was Pindustry in Greenwood Village. The food was not bad, including wood fire pizzas and other bar eats, but I could not get over the views and space. The main floor has over 20 arcade games, a bowling alley, bar, seating, shuffleboard, and other games. It is a great place to bring your family.
I loved the sign at the bottom of the huge staircase. Which location are you choosing?

It is a double staircase that takes you up to two more floors to the rooftop. My jaw dropped when I walked into that space. Glass railing did not obstruct any of the views. The rooftop was huge! A cute bar and a ton of high-top seating. There was a lot of construction going on one side of the building; they were putting in additional apartment buildings. But the view directly from the entrance was the Rockies. It was a bit hazy that day, so it was not as clear as it should have been. But, you do not get those views in Cleveland.
The space was 5,685 feet above sea level. For reference, Cleveland's elevation is 653 feet. We were warned we might feel the effects of that change, but I did not notice anything strange other than a slight headache one day.

The other side of the roof had several corn-hole stations and some hammocks if you wanted to nap. I would totally understand being relaxed enough to rest while you watched the sun setting over the Rockies.

There was a long bar that went down one side and high tops directly across. Plenty of room and we had a large group. All of the seats are high tops, if you prefer to sit at tables or booths they offer those on the first floor.

Although the food was not anything spectacular, the views and vibe of the place was so fun! I would definitely go back. What a great night!!

Check out the video of Pindustry. Let me know what you think?
Cheers,
